2. Log in (If you do not have a password, go to e-Services from the CAP web site or get someone at your local unit to help you setup an account).

4. Look on the left side under Select Menu Category to view Sub-Menu.  Click on "Communications."

5. When the next page comes up, look under ***  Communications Director's and Staff Menu  *** for Downloads and Publications  and click on it. 

6. Third and fourth items in the list are ALE Part 1 -- Introduction to HF/ALE and ALE Part 2 -- Basic HF/ALE Operation

Course Outline - See Proposed Schedule

• The 2009 Communications School will include hands on and classroom instruction.

• Setting up field antennas and masts, safely and effectively

• Setting up temporary radio stations, power supplies and generator sets.

• Radio procedure including logging, formal traffic, and mission traffic handling.

• Each student team will build and test a high frequency antenna.

• Opportunity to qualify as an MRO.

• Opportunity for advanced Communicators to qualify as CUL. This will be limited to three experienced students. Please contact the school commandant if you want to get this CUL qualification.
